Microsoft Math is an educational program, designed for Microsoft Windows, that allows users to solve math and science problems. Developed and maintained by Microsoft, it is primarily targeted for students as a learning tool.
A related add-on that offers certain limited features of Microsoft Math is available for Microsoft Word 2007. It is also maintained by Microsoft and is available free to users of Word successfully validated by the Genuine Microsoft Program.

Microsoft Math contains features that are designed to assist in solving math, science, and tech-related problems, as well as to educate the user. The application features such tools as a graphing calculator and a unit converter. It also includes a triangle solver, and an equation solver that provides step-by-step solutions to each problem, a feature beneficial to students attempting to learn problem-solving skills.
The standalone version of Microsoft Math 3.0 also has support for calculus and Ink Handwriting, allowing the user to write out problems by hand and have them recognized by Microsoft Math.

- Microsoft Math 1.0 - Available only in Microsoft Student 2006
- Microsoft Math 2.0 - Available only in Microsoft Student 2007
- Microsoft Math 3.0 - Full-featured version available as a standalone product and a scaled-down version available as part of Microsoft Student 2008. The full-featured standalone version exclusively includes calculus support, digital ink recognition features and a special display mode for projectors. The standalone version is also the first version of Microsoft Math to require product activation. [1]
